We’re always being asked to do more with less. So it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, pressured, and like we’re burning out. That’s not a good thing.

We are proud to offer a range of modules on the topic of wellbeing, and you can see a sample of them below. We love sharing our knowledge and tapping to the things individuals are already doing to boost their approach to wellness.

Allow us to climb onto our soapbox for a minute

Running a course on mindfulness is great, but in isolation it sends the message that the issue of wellbeing and burnout sits on the shoulders of the employees… And we don’t think that’s fair.

The last thing we want to hear is something like this:
“If I’m suddenly doing the work of two people, don’t tell me to meditate.”

We’d love to work with you on some wellbeing programs, but we’re also going to ask you some potentially tough questions about what else you’re doing to help the team – we want them to succeed just as much as you need them to succeed. And they can’t do that if they’re not well in mind, body and spirit.

Here are just a few of the modules we love to include in wellbeing training programs:

My Self-Care

Too often we hear the phrase ‘self-care’ and read it as ‘selfish.’ It is anything but!

Pick the cliché – “you can’t pour from an empty cup”, or “put your own mask on first before helping others.” The truth is, taking care of yourself is a crucial part of being able to take care of those you love. In this session, we explore levels of self-care, including “boring self-care.” Learners will leave with ideas on what they can do straight away, and none of them need to involve Reiki!

Greater Mindfulness

When we talk mindfulness, we’re talking about grounding ourselves in the now. Taking some to breathe – literally and figuratively. This is more than just chilling out. It’s about finding ways to enter a state that allows us to level up our wellbeing AND our performance. We look at research in the mindfulness space and tap in to some neuroscience around threats and rewards we encounter at work. Of course, we’ll also spend time exploring ways to be more mindful and why it’s beneficial.

Values based living

There’s a growing body of research that tells us the more we can live in alignment with our values, the happier we’ll be, the better our relationships will be, and the stronger our performance at work. And we’re here for it! In this session, we start by encouraging leaners to identify what their core values are – most of us never actually get specific. Then we’ll give them time to share and explore how they can go about living in accordance with those values, as well as pointing out a tonne of ways it can benefit their lives.

Building Resilience

To be honest, we don’t love the word resilience. Resilience isn’t about enduring the hard times. It’s about knowing yourself and being able to recharge your batteries when you need it. And if your battery is flat, you’re already too late. In this session, we invite learners to understand what’s getting in the way of their resilience and reflect on the times they felt most powerful and most like themselves. It’s a great one!
